In a democratic society, transparency in political campaign funding is not just a best practice; it's a cornerstone that safeguards the integrity of our democratic institutions. Through my advocacy for freedom in Iran, I'm committed to upholding the same principles of transparency that I respect as a Swedish parliamentarian and politician.

The #IRGCTerrorists campaign in Europe, initiated in late 2022, was organized around three main demonstrations and extensive lobbying activities. During this campaign, I used my position as a trusted public figure to set up crowdfunding efforts to finance our initiatives.

In total, we've collected funds through various platforms, such as GoFundMe, PayPal, and Swish. Specifically, 1,095,598.92 kr was raised via crowdfunding, while expenditures amounted to 1,209,692.06 kr. I contributed an additional 114,093.14 kr from my personal funds to cover campaign costs.

Of the total amount spent, 72% was allocated for demonstrations, one in Strasbourg and two in Brussels, with 89% of that sum covering logistics and equipment. The remaining 28% was used for travel expenses aimed at lobbying and building a robust political network to oppose the IRGC and the Islamic Republic of Iran.

By openly sharing these financial details, I aim to strengthen public trust and emphasize the importance of transparency in all democratic activities.
